Skilled Volunteers

UPDATED 3/17/2021: Since March of 2020, our construction site has made the decision to not host volunteers. Due to the ongoing nature of the pandemic, we do not have a specific reopening date. This decision was made as part of our efforts to protect our community and our own staff as we monitor COVID-19 and in accordance with guidelines from DC government. Thank you to all who have submitted an application–it has been permanently saved for when we can resume normal volunteer operations. We look forward to the day we can welcome you to site again!

Do you have a special skill or area of expertise that you want to use to help us in our mission to eliminate substandard housing in the District of Columbia? We would love to have your hands-on skills on site if you have expertise in tiling, installing cabinets, as a trim carpenter or punch out carpenter, with interior finish carpentry, gutters and downspouts, laminate installation, or exterior siding and trim.

When you share your information with us, we’ll add you to our skilled volunteers database and contact you when we have special projects that require your expertise. Complete the form below to share your skills and interests.
