We are currently hiring for the following positions:

 

Home Repairs Superintendent / Home Repairs Assistant Superintendent

The Home Repairs Superintendent and Home Repairs Assistant Superintendent will assist with leading the continued development and implementation of Habitat for Humanity of Washington, D.C’s (DC Habitat) Home Repairs Program (“Program”). The two positions will assist with leading all phases of the program including seeking home repair opportunities, developing scope of work and pricing, budgeting and hiring of subcontractors as needed, and managing all aspects of the actual repair. The Superintendents will ensure that outreach efforts are coordinated among appropriate DC Habitat departments. Positions may also assist as needed with Habitat’s home building operations. Construction Superintendent / Assistant Construction Superintendent

The Construction Superintendent and Assistant Construction Superintendent are not only responsible for managing subcontractors and volunteers on construction sites, but also monitoring and ensuring a safe work environment, stocking materials at job sites, communicating instructions to subcontractors and delivery personnel, and working with staff members on affiliate-related matters. Qualified candidates will have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, a willingness to teach and train, effective organization and time-management skills, and an affinity for working with diverse groups of people.
