Volunteer Services Coordinator – AmeriCorps Member
The Volunteer Services Coordinator supports our staff to provide a consistent and positive volunteer experience and ensure we connect with, empower, and appreciate each volunteer that serves with DC Habitat. They increase our capacity to serve families by conducting outreach to new volunteer groups, representing the organization at community events, and assisting in developing new events and opportunities to recruit volunteers. Construction Crew Leader – AmeriCorps Member
Construction Crew Leaders assist our construction staff in running the build site on a daily basis and serve as the “face” of DC Habitat for our volunteers and residents of the communities where we build. They build relationships with volunteers and partner families while instructing, coaching, and encouraging participation in the construction process and maintaining focus on our three on-site priorities: safety, productivity, and fun.
